How do you use the landscape keyboard on the new ipod touch software?

Ok, so I downloaded the new ipod touch software and one of the features it said that would now be accesible would be the a landscape keyboard how do you access this?

one you open a application or safari on you ipod touch…..your landscape keyboard should be visible
